Legends Soccer Club, National Indoor Soccer Championship, SuperClubs North America, the SuperClubs National Team Tours and the HappyFeet Preschool & Legends Soccer Club Franchises.

Andy is the author of a 320-page book on soccer coaching, Training Soccer Legends. In his vivid, unorthodox soccer book he describes the philosophies and methods that have led to the successes of the teams and individual players who play for the Kansas City Legends Soccer Club. Moving from topic to topic, in each segment he provides new thought-provoking insight on questionable youth coaching methods. He draws from the many strands of his experience, his passion for the game of soccer, his lifelong infatuation with the great players of each era, his study of physical development and leadership, his loyal credo, his adventures in competition with players of many different ages, abilities, classes and national backgrounds, plus the hard work, headaches and rewards of the soccer playing, promoting and coaching life. His book is plainspoken, wise and enormously original. It is a book that addresses past and current coaching abuses, forges new developmental pathways and expands future coaching horizons. This is a book written for every soccer player, aficionado, coach or parent with a vision of maximizing each individual’s potential.

However, they are more noteworthy for winning 5 National Indoor Soccer Championships between the ages of 12 and 18. Kyle and his teammates (including Legends coach Andrew Clifton) were incredible at beating opponents and scoring goals in and around the box. After 14 years in the club Kyle is a firm believer in the unique Legends philosophy.

Kyle had a storied career at O’Hara High School. In his four years he received four all state selections and two Kansas City all-metro selections. Kyle’s high school career culminated in a second place finish at the state tournament, the school’s highest ever finish. Kyle was recognized for his achievements by being chosen to play in the Missouri vs. Kansas high school all-star game.

Kyle was also a mainstay on the Missouri ODP team and was chosen to participate in the Wizards youth academy along with several of his Legends teammates.

From 2002 – 2007 Kyle attended Drury University on a soccer scholarship. Kyle was a two year team captain at Drury and guided them to a top ten national ranking his senior year. Kyle graduated with honors from Drury and went on to receive his masters in business administration from the university also. While in attendance at Drury, Kyle also spent two years playing for the Springfield Demize in the Professional Development League. In 2007 Kyle was voted team MVP by the coaches and invited to the leagues combine in Florida.

Kyle’s coaching resume includes a one year stint as the assistant soccer coach at Hillcrest High School as well as coaching at several of the Drury University summer camps. Kyle has also spent two summers coaching the Legends skills academy.

Kyle now works full-time for the Legends Soccer club. Kyle has chosen to follow his passion for teaching and promoting the unique Legends method instead of the business career route that was open to him.
